GENERAL
The
PM 5135 function generator
is ideally suited fo
r
general-purpose
applications
like
education
and
train ing,
audio and
electronics service, production testing and
development
laboratories.
The
instrument produces
sine
,
tria ngle and square
waveforms
in
the
frequency
range
from
1
mHz to
2
M Hz
.
It covers
four
logarithmical
subranges
se
lected by pushbuttons
.
Within a
subrange the frequency
is set
by a
large
dial.
The frequency
vern ier
knob a llows freque
ncy
adjustment within

20
%
to +20
% of
the dial
setting.
In addition
to
the standard waveforms
the
instr
ument
provides a
TTL
output
signal.
The
output
voltage is
continuously
adjustable up to
30
Vpp;
it
can
be
attenuated
in
steps of

down
to 60 dB
.
The
continuously variable adjustment cove
rs

to
20 dB, equ ivalent

A
DC voltage

The sweep

adjustable from 1 to 150 seconds.
The
sweep
input
socket
allows
frequ

odulation
by
an
external
source.
Sweeps can

ggered
manual
by
pushbutton control, or
from
an external
trigger source.
The
ergono
m

c design
of
the
controls
and
sockets serves for
convenient
operat
ing
the
function
generator.
