The Upper Warming Cabinet

NOTE: This section of the appliance is designed to heat towels and
blankets to a temperature no higher than 140°F. When loading items
into the cabinet for heating, be sure there is a minimum of 1 inch of
space between the items and the walls and fan to allow for proper
circulation of air.
Turning off the warming cabinet does not affect the operation of the
lower cooling cabinet, but turning off the cooling cabinet can activate
the supplemental heating element in the warming cabinet unless this
cabinet is also turned off.

Loading the Warming Cabinet

Place the articles to be warmed into the cabinet and close the door. Items
may be stacked, but be sure adequate space is left for air circulation, as
noted above. Be sure the door is closed securely.

Turning On the Warming Cabinet

Switch the circuit breaker on the control panel to the ON position. The
following will happen:
• The temperature controller will light up and display the warming
cabinet temperature.
• The fan motor will start.
• The heating element will turn on as indicated by the red indicator light
on the controller. It will cycle on and off with the heating element.
• The temperature will start to rise.
• The temperature will gradually rise to the factory setting of 140°F from
an ambient room temperature of 72°F.
