screw the cartridge onto the lamp clockwise until
you hear a click (about one sixth of a turn) (Fig. 2).
Do not tighten the cartridge further, as you may
damage its valve.
If there is a leak (smell of gas), put the lamp outside
immediately, in a well ventilated area, without heat source,
where the leak can be traced and stopped. If you wish to
check that your lamp is not leaking, do so outside. Never
trace leaks using a flame, use a gas leak solution.
2. Fitting the mantle
a. Remove the handle (2) by pulling the sides outwards
(fig. 4)
b. Open the cover (5) and remove the glass (fig. 7)
c. Slide the mantle (6) onto the burner (4), with the
larger hole facing downwards; slot the mantle into
the grooves of the burner) (fig. 8).

C - Use
Additional instructions :
Do not use your lamp at a distance closer than 20 cm to
a wall or flammable object, nor closer than 40 cm to a
ceiling (distance measured from lamp cover).
Place the lamp on a horizontal surface or hang it
vertically.
Avoid making any sudden movements with the lamp,
to prevent large flames appearing, caused by the
combustion of liquid butane instead of vaporised
butane. If this occurs, extinguish the lamp by closing
the tap.
If there is a leak (i.e. you can smell gas), close the tap.
Do not operate the lamp if the mantle is torn (there is
a risk that the glass might break). only replace it with
a special Campingaz® mantle. Remove the damaged
mantle and blow onto the burner to get rid of any dust
that has accumulated there, then proceed as indicated
in the "Fitting the mantle" and "Burning the mantle"
sections.
When in use (or immediately after it is turned off),
the heat given off by the burner makes some parts of
the lamp extremely hot (including the cover and the
handle if the lamp has been used hanging vertically).
It is dangerous to touch these parts with bare hands.
Doing so can cause serious burns.
Lighting the Lumogaz Plus (Fig. 11)
a. Introduce a lighted match into the opening between
the top of the glass (3) and the cover (5).
b. Gradually open the gas by turning the control knob
(1) anti-clockwise.
switching off
Close the tap by turning the control knob (1) clockwise as far
as it will go (direction "-" of the arrow) (fig. 3). Well tighten the
wheel to ensure that the gas is completely turned off.
