On the controller, you will see a joystick reminiscent of a video-game console on the left side
and on the right side are 5 colored buttons:
The yellow buttons is to magnify the screen
where the top one actually magnify the image, while the
bottom one, the lower one will reduce the image size.
The joystick can be used to move within the image
when magnification has been defined.
The white button represents color inversion.
The red button produces an image in grayscale
while retaining some color information. This makes it possible to accentuate difficult-to-
read text.
The green button returns the image to full screen. my Board Buddy goes into sleep
mode after 30 minutes without user intervention. Pressing a button on the controller or
moving the joystick wakes it up. It is not possible to completely switch off the my Board
Buddy receiver with a button; the low power consumption makes this operation
unnecessary.
Troubleshooting
Near the pupil is marked "no signal".
This indicates that something is wrong with the transmitter. The connection with the source may
have been lost.
The display at the front of the classroom shows "no signal".
This indicates that something is wrong with the transmitter. The connection with the source may
have been lost.
Notes visible on the screen are not transmitted to the user.
Unfortunately, the display to which the transmitter is connected does not transmit this
information. Contact the screen manufacturer.
The my Board Buddy receiver is blocked
Remove the power adapter from the unit and wait 30 seconds. Then reconnect the power
adapter and wait for the device to boot up completely. If all goes well, you'll return to the home
screen after maximum 2 minutes.
