There are two types of thermal sphere positioning
systems. Please take the actual device for
reference.
Cable Description (Page 2 – B)
1. RS-485
2. Network Cable: Connect the network interface
with network cable.
3. BNC: Connect video interface.
4. Alarm Cable: Connect terminal ALARM-IN with
terminal GND, and connect terminal
ALARM-OUT and terminal ALARM-COM.
5. Power Input Cable: Support 48 VDC power
supply.
Install the Camera (Page 3 – C)
The installation steps of the two types of cameras
are the same. Here is an installation example of
the type II camera.
Steps:
1. Move the device to the specified location in
either of the following ways.
a) Pull out the rubber plugs at the top of the
device, insert and fix the lifting rings to the
holes, and move the device to the specified
location with a lever or a crane.
b) Pull out the rubber plugs on the device base,
insert and fix the handheld carrying poles to the
holes, and then lift up and move the device to
the specified location.
2. Drill six holes on the bracket according to the
dimension of the bracket.
3. Take out six M10 × 50 screws, and fix the device
to the bracket with the screws.
4. Pull the horizontal positioning pin upward, and
rotate the positioning pin 90° clockwise to
unlock the device. You can hear a click if the
operation is successful.
5. Remove the lifting rings and handheld carrying
poles, and insert the rubber plugs back.
6. Apply the anti-corrosion gel on the screws.
Install the Power Box (Page 4 – D)
Before you start the installation, prepare a
installation panel by yourself, and fix it at the
required place.
Method I: Vertical Installation
Steps:
1. Drill four φ 6.5 mm holes on the installation
panel according to the instruction in D – I –
2. Screw four M6 screws into the installation panel.
Leave at least 5 mm space between the
screwhead and the installation panel.
3. Align the four bigger holes on the back panel of
the power box with the four screws, move the
power box downward to hang it on the
installation panel, and tighten the screws to fix
the power box.
4. Remove the waterproof covers and connect the
corresponding cables.
Method II: Horizontal Installation
Steps:
1. Drill four φ 6.5 mm holes on the installation
panel according to instruction
(as shown in D – I –
2. Fix the power box on the installation panel with
four M6 screws.

Waterproof Method (Page 6 – E)
1. Install network cable waterproof jacket.
2. Use supplied waterproof tape to protect cable
connectors and unused cables.
