Inspection
•
Check the pump for completeness, leaks and damage. Do not use the pump if it leaks or is
damaged and contact the Holmatro dealer.
•
Check the oil level of the hydraulic tank and refill it if necessary to the maximum level.
6.4.3
Cleaning and storage
•
Clean the pump.
•
Clean the couplers and dust caps and make sure the dust caps are mounted.
•
Dry the pump if it was used in wet conditions
•
Make sure the pump can not fall over during transport.
•
Store the pump horizontally in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Troubleshooting
7.1
General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems. For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
7.2
The pump operates but is not developing pressure

The oil level is too low.
There is air in the hydraulic system.
The pump filters are dirty.

The oil delivery is too low

Possible cause
The filler cap is not open.
The compressed air capacity too low.
The compressed air hose size too small.
There is air in the hydraulic system.
The pump filters are dirty.

The pump does not achieve 720 bar

Possible cause
The air pressure is too low

The pump does not maintain its pressure

Possible cause
There is a leakage in the hydraulic system.
The valve is not operating properly.

Add hydraulic oil.
Vent the hydraulic system.
Clean the oil filter.
Solution
Open the filler cap.
Minimum capacity 0.56 m
Use a larger size compressed air hose.
Vent the hydraulic system.

required to achieve 720 bar.
