Connect the hydraulic hose(s)
5.4.1
General
WARNING
Never use damaged couplers.
Caution
Never use pliers or similar to connect the hydraulic couplers.
5.4.2
Connect the CORE™ couplers
Refer to Fig. 4.
•
Remove the dust caps from the couplers.
•
Check the couplers for dirt and damage and clean them if necessary.
•
Insert the couplers by holding them against each other and pushing the male coupler with one
action into the female coupler. The external ring of the female coupler must move in the opposite
direction to the arrows.
•
Pull both couplers to check whether the couplers cannot be pulled apart with a normal manual
effort.
•
Put the dust caps into each other to avoid dirt.
5.4.3
Connect the dual-hose couplers
Refer to Fig 5.
WARNING
Always make sure that the pressure is relieved, before you connect hydraulic hose(s) to the
pump. Relief the pressure by pressing the "RELEASE" side of the foot pedal.
•
Remove the dust caps from the couplers.
•
Check the couplers for dirt and damage and clean them if necessary.
•
Push the couplers into each other. The external ring of the female coupler will automatically move in
the opposite direction to the arrows and lock.
•
Check whether the couplers can not be pulled apart with a normal manual effort and check that the
snap ring is in the correct position.
•
Put the dust caps into each other to avoid dirt.
5.5
Disconnect the hydraulic hose(s)
5.5.1
General
Caution
Never use pliers or similar to disconnect the hydraulic couplers.
5.5.2
Disconnect the CORE™ couplers
Refer to Fig. 6.
•
Disconnect the dust caps from each other.
•
Disconnect the couplers by turning the external ring on the female coupler and then sliding it in the
direction of the arrows. The male coupler will slip out.
