Caution! Risk of injury and/or damage and/or deterioration of product in case of
non-compliance to safety requirements.
Understand your log saw
Read the instructions manual.
Read and understand the manual and labels affixed to the log saw.
Learn its application and limitations as well as the specific potential hazards
peculiar to it.
Make sure all users read the instructions.
Operators need to receive necessary training and instruction before operating the
product.
Never permit a person without training or proper instruction to operate this machine.
Keep this manual handy for future reference
Do not expose to or use in weather conditions (ex.: storm, rain, snow ...), moisture.
Do not use in damp or wet areas.
The machine must NOT be sprayed with water (danger due to the presence of
electric current).
Do not operate the unit outdoors when it is raining.
Keep your work area tidy! Untidiness can lead to accidents.
Avoid dangerous conditions
Always operate your log saw on dry, solid, level ground.
Never operate your log saw on slippery, wet, muddy, or icy surfaces.
The location you choose should be free from any tall grass, brush, or other
interferences.
There should be plenty of room for handling, and help the operator stay alert.
To avoid tripping, do not leave tools, logs, or other components laying around the
work area.
Do not use it in areas where fumes from paint, solvents or flammable liquids pose a
potential hazard.
Inspect your log saw
It is prohibited to remove or modify guards and safety mechanisms.
Check your log saw before turning it on.
Keep guards in place and in working order.
Warning: pay attention to fingers pinching or entrapment hazard.
Do not disassemble or modify the protective devices or the log saw.
Form a habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from
tool before turning it on.
Replace damaged, missing or failed parts before using it.
Make sure all nuts, bolts, screws, hydraulic fittings, hose clamps, etc. are securely
tightened.
Always check the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank.
Never operate your log saw when it is in need of repair or is in poor mechanical
condition.
Before starting work, hydraulic pipes and hoses shall be inspected and stopping
devices shall be tested.
Risk of personal injury and crushing by moving parts!
Do not operate the machine without installed guard
Keep sufficient distance to driven components when operating the machine.
Ensure the machine is disconnected from power supply before servicing.
Ensure that when switching on (e.g. after servicing) no tools or loose parts are left
on or in the machine.
Turn power off if the machine is not used.
