Uninstallation Guide
WARNING: UNINSTALLATION SHOULD BE DONE BY PROFESSIONAL
INSTALLERS ONLY!
This document is intended to provide professional installers with basic
uninstallation instructions and safety guidelines for the FreeSpace DS 40F
loudspeaker (and its variants) in typical fixed-installation systems. Please
read this document and all safety warnings before attempting the
uninstallation process.

Required Materials
Uninstalling the Old Loudspeaker
DS 40F VA WARNING: Do not attempt to uninstall a loudspeaker from a voice alarm (VA) system without
proper training or experience. Only qualified or locally certified professionals should uninstall VA system
loudspeakers.

Power off the audio system to prevent electric shock.

Use a screwdriver or other tool to gently remove the
grille from the body of the loudspeaker.
