PISTON COMPRESSORS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4. USE
• Check that the network voltage corresponds to that indicated on the electrical characteristics
nameplate, the permitted tolerance range is + or -5%.
• Set the compressor to "OFF" by pressing the red button on
the pressure switch.
ON
• Plug in the power cord into the power outlet
• Start the compressor by switching to "ON" by pulling the
OFF
red pressure switch button.
The compressor starts and stops automatically when the
pressure in the tank reaches 10 bars.
When in use, the compressor restarts when the pressure
in the tanks falls below 7 bars.
• Adjust the pressure to the desired value by turning the
pressure gauge knob..
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL NOT TO EXCEED 10 BAR IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY RISK OF
DAMAGE.
• Always use hoses and pneumatic tools suitable for the maximum pressure of the compressor.
• Turn off the compressor by turning it to "OFF", pressing the red button on the pressure switch, then
unplug the power cord.
5. MAINTENANCE
•At each maintenance, cut off the power supply.
• Clean the machine regularly, empty the condensate present in the air tank at least once a week.
Please note, before draining the tank, the pressure must be less than 1 bar. Gently open the valve
below the tank, wait for the water to drain. Close the valve after evacuation (do not tighten too hard).
• Once a year check the safety valve by pulling on the metal rod.
• The air filter should be changed as soon as it becomes clogged or once a year.
• Oil replacement should be carried out once a year. (Instructions page 22)
• The tank must be tested every 10 years and the safety valve must be replaced at the same time. The
air tank, depending on its capacity, may be subject to regulatory controls.
• The regulator is changed every 2 years. Check for corrosion and proper operation.
6. GUARANTEE
• This compressor is guaranteed for 1 year for parts and labor from the date of purchase.
• The return of the compressor is subject to prior approval from the after-sales service and is the res-
ponsibility of the sender.
• To benefit from this contractual guarantee, the device must be returned to the distributor who sold it,
accompanied by proof of purchase.
• The warranty is only valid if:
• The compressor was used under normal conditions of use
• The summer compressor has not been damaged (drop, overvoltage, shock, excessive humidity).
• The compressor has not been opened, dismantled or modified by the customer.
• The compressor was maintained with non-original parts.
• The warranty is limited to construction defects and does not apply to wearing parts such as: piston,
pressure switch, seals, air filters, non-return valve, electric motor, ball bearings, etc...
