• There may be some smoke or a particular smell when the device is activated for the first time. This
is normal and any smoke or smell will gradually disappear.
• Do not use the device when damage to housing, protective glass or cables is noticed. Do not
attempt to service the device yourself but contact an authorised dealer.

5. Installation
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
• This device must be connected directly to the mains (no socket) via the connection box (5),
maximum voltage 230 VAC. The connection to the mains should be prepared and carried out by an
acknowledged professional.
• The device is designed to operate in a vertical position. Do not mount on a ceiling.
• Mount the device at a height between 2 m and 4.5 m. Keep at least 20 cm of free safety distance
above, left and right of the device.
6. Setting Up the Movement Detector
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
• Time adjustment: Adjust the lighting period of the floodlight after a motion is perceived. The
lighting period is adjustable from 5 seconds to 12 minutes. Turn the knob clockwise to increase or
anticlockwise to decrease the period.
• Light adjustment: Adjust the level at which the motion detector will start operating. Turn the
knob completely to the right. At the desired ambient light level, gently turn the knob to the left
until the floodlight activates.
• Sensitivity adjustment: Adjust the compensation level for seasonal variations in temperature and
to reduce unwanted triggering. It is recommended to set this knob in its mid position. Turn to the
right to increase the detecting distance up to 12 metres or turn to the left to reduce the detecting
distance down to 3 metres.
7. Service
• There are no user-serviceable parts.
• Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
