3 . If air leak persists:
a . Remove the two screws securing the foot button escutcheon and check the
1/8" elbow connection behind the pushbutton assembly .
b . Make sure the screw holding the elbow is tight and the fitting in the elbow is
firmly hand tightened .
c . Make sure the fitting is pushed firmly into the elbow .
4 . If air leak persists:
a . Disconnect the tubing by pressing down on the plastic ring at the top of the
fitting and pulling it out .
b . Trim 1/2" off squarely with a razor-knife .
c . Push tubing back into the connector until firmly seated .
5 . If leak still persists:
a . Loosen the compression nut on the air valve inside the pedestal .

1 . Unscrew the valve clamp nut on the top of the foot valve .
2 . Remove valve cover . If the diaphragm/magnet assembly comes out with the cover,
gently peel the diaphragm away from cover, taking care not to damage it . Inspect
the diaphragm for any holes or tears . If damaged, replace it .
3 . Insert the diaphragm/magnet assembly back into the valve, but leave the cover off .
4 . Gently press the diaphragm fully . If the valve does not activate, the entire
diaphragm/magnet assembly needs to be replaced .
