S The signal conditioners and devices of automation
must be blocked in such a way that adequate protec
tion or locking against unintentional actuation is
provided (e.g. access checks, password protection,
etc.).
S If the SCMHV is operated on QuantumX modules,
additional safety precautions must be taken in terms
of both hardware and software for signal conditioners
working in networks, so that a line break or other in
terruptions to signal transmission do not cause un
defined states or loss of data in the automation
device.
S After making settings and carrying out activities that
are password-protected, you must make sure that any
controls that may be connected remain in a safe con
dition until the switching performance of the signal
conditioner has been tested.
