BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the
stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
•
Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the
voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage
before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
•
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of
10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for
installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
•
When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor will occur.
This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only
temporary and will disappear soon.
USE
Placing the bakingtrays (FIG.1)
•
In the outer rim of the plates is a recess, put the baking trays with the
recess towards the side of the hinge in the device, then press on the
baking tray until you hear a click, the tray is now locked.
•
The plates can be released by pressing the release buttons, the upper
release button is located in the handle, the lower release button is
located under the handle on the device.
•
Note: the cupcake plates are two different plates one upper plate and
one bottom plate, there is just one way to fix them.
Cake pops
•
Slightly grease the non-stick coating of the baking plates with oil or butter.
•
Close the device and plug it into the wall outlet. Both indication lights
will illuminate, indicating that the device is now preheating.
•
It will take approximately 3 minutes to reach the recommended baking
temperature. The green power indication light will go off once the
device is ready to use.
•
Open the lid using an oven glove in order to prevent making contact
with the hot surfaces of the device.
•
Fill each mold with batter by using a jug, spoon or piping bag.
Especially a piping bag seems very practical for filling the molds.
•
Note: Do not use disposable plastic piping bags, as these may melt
when coming into contact with the hot baking plates. Be careful not to
overfill the molds, as the batter will rise during the baking process.
•
Gently close the lid, ensuring it is locked well. Do not slam the lid
down, as it may cause the mixture to run off the molds.
•
The actual preparation time will vary depending on the ingredients
used and the type of cake pops being prepared. A general guide line is
3 to 5 minutes preparation time per batch of cake pops.
•
Hint: use a toothpick or skewer to check the progress of the cakes
pops. Insert the skewer into the cake pops. When the toothpick/skewer
is coming out clean, the cake pops are ready.
•
To remove the cake pops, always use a plastic or wooden spatula.
Never use a sharp or metal object, as this will damage the non-stick
coating of the baking plates.
•
When you use the lolly sticks, insert the stick for 2/3th into the cake
pop otherwise the cakepop will roll off or break.
Cupcakes
•
Close the device and plug it into the wall outlet. Both indication lights
will illuminate, indicating that the device is now preheating.
•
It will take approximately 3 minutes to reach the recommended baking
temperature. The green power indication light will go off once the
device is ready to use.
