6.0 OPTIONAL BLOWER INSTALLATION
TURN OFF THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL POWER BEFORE SERVICING THIS APPLIANCE.
USE ONLY WOLF STEEL APPROVED OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES AND REPLACEMENT PARTS WITH
THIS APPLIANCE. USING NON-LISTED ACCESSORIES (BLOWERS, DOORS, LOUVRES, TRIMS, GAS
COMPONENTS, VENTING COMPONENTS, ETC.) COULD RESULT IN A SAFETY HAZARD AND WILL
ENSURE THAT THE FAN'S POWER CORD IS NOT IN CONTACT WITH ANY SURFACE OF THE
APPLIANCE TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR FIRE DAMAGE. DO NOT RUN THE POWER
THE WIRE HARNESS PROVIDED IN THE BLOWER KIT IS A UNIVERSAL HARNESS. WHEN
INSTALLED, ENSURE THAT ANY EXCESS WIRE IS CONTAINED, PREVENTING IT FROM MAKING
6.1
ACCESSING THE BLOWER
BE CAREFUL NOT TO TEAR THE BURNER TRAIN GASKET. A REPLACEMENT GASKET CAN BE
ORDERED FROM YOUR LOCAL AUTHORIZED DEALER / DISTRIBUTOR.
Remove the control access panel.
A.
Remove the door, see the section "DOOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION".
B.
Carefully remove the log set and optional brick panels if installed, see section "LOG PLACEMENT".
C.
Remove the 2 screws holding the front grate in place.
D.
Remove the 2 screws holding the rear log support.
E.
Remove the 9 perimeter screws as illustrated and lift out the burner base assembly and gasket.
F.
(The gas line fl ex-connector should provide suffi cient movement to permit shifting the burner
assembly on it's side).
