Ensure this is disposed of via a repair workshop or
contact your nearest collection point for hazardous
substances.
Keep your work area clean and tidy. Untidy work-
places and workbenches increase the risk of accidents
and injuries.
The lift rod or car lifter itself may be a tripping hazard.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating
a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times.
Never load the jack above the rated lifting
capacity.
Put the lifter on a solid, firm and flat surface when
lifting load.
Make sure the bleeder screw is screwed firmly before
lifting load.
If the force to be applied is greater than 400 N,
the device should be operated with an additional
person.
Vehicles to be lifted need to be sufficiently secured
against rolling away before they are actually lifted.
Never place the lifter askew or slantwise to the lifting
plane.
Fix the lifter to the vehicle only at locations specified
by the manufacturer.
Control the jack and the load during all movements
in order to be able to react promptly in the event of
a fault.
Risk of injury
Staying under lifted load is strictly prohibited.
Never work under lifted load that is supported only
by the lifter. Lifted load must be secured / supported
by separate trestles or, as appropriate, brackets.
It is only possible to work on and under lifted vehicles
when they are sufficiently secured and supported to
make sure they do not turn over and slip.
Make sure nobody is leaning against lifted vehicle or
lifted load.
Never move load using the car lifter. Moving lifted
load may lead to lifter damage and failure.
Have your device repaired only by qualified professi-
onal staff using original spare parts. This will ensure
that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Also ensure that the warning notices remain in their
original and in good condition.
If the jack cannot be lowered as intended, always use
safety stands to secure the vehicle against unintenti-
onal lowering.
Procure an addition jack that you can use to lift the
vehicle to a point that allows the defective jack to
be removed safely. Get professional help if you are
unsure of how to proceed.
Tools which are not in used must be stored in a dry
place as high as possible out of the reach of children
or in an inaccessible place.
GRH 10/560 HD: Use appropriate lifting equipment
for transportation. The load must be balanced.
Residual Risk
Even when the device is used properly and all safety
regulations are complied with, there still may be
some residual risks.
Limbs may be crushed when lowering the
load. Do not touch and step under the lift arm
when lowering the car lifter..
Emergency procedure
Conduct a first-aid procedure adequate to the injury
and summon qualified medical attendance as quickly
as possible. Protect the injured person from further
harm and calm them down. If you seek help, state the
following pieces of information: 1. Accident site, 2.
Accident type, 3. Number of injured persons, 4. Injury
type(s)
