7.3 Cleaning and replacing the
exhaust ilter
7.3.1 Cleaning the exhaust ilter
You have to clean the exhaust ilter every month
if you use your homeRun daily.
Follow steps 1 and 2 in section 'Cleaning the

mesh ilter' to remove the mesh ilter from
the dust container.
Remove the exhaust ilter (1) and clean it

with a regular vacuum cleaner (2).

Note:
The exhaust ilter is not dishwasher-proof and
not waterproof.
Put the exhaust ilter back into the ilter

holder with the white side pointing towards
the ilter holder.
Follow steps 4, 5 and 6 in section 'Cleaning

the mesh ilter' to put back the mesh ilter, to
reattach the ilter holder and to put the dust
container back into the robot.
7.3.2 Replacing the exhaust ilter
The exhaust ilter needs to be replaced every six
months if you use your homeRun daily.
Follow steps 1 and 2 in section 'Cleaning the

mesh ilter' to remove the mesh ilter from
the dust container (1).
Insert a new exhaust ilter into the ilter
2
holder with the white side pointing towards
the ilter holder (2).
Follow steps 4, 5 and 6 in section 'Cleaning
3
the mesh ilter' to put back the mesh ilter, to
reattach the ilter holder and to put the dust
container back into the robot.
7.4 Cleaning the motor
protection ilter
Check the motor protection ilter every six
months. Clean the ilter if it is dirty.
Follow steps 1 to 3 in section 'Emptying
1
the dust container' to remove the dust
container compartment cover and take
out the dust container.
Remove the motor protection ilter from

the robot and clean it with a regular
vacuum cleaner.
Place the motor protection ilter back.

Follow steps 7 to 9 in section 'Emptying the

dust container' to place the dust container
back into the robot and to place the dust
container compartment cover back onto
the robot.
