f Remove the battery compartment from
the housing.
f Remove the old battery, and insert the
new battery (CR2025, 3 V) in such a way
that the positive pole faces towards the
rear of the housing when the battery
compartment I is pushed in.
f Push the battery compartment back into
the housing.
Note:
Do not dispose of used batteries in
the household trash, but hand them
in at a suitable collection point.

Subwoofer output
You can connect a subwoofer to the device.
To do so, the subwoofer must be connected to
the rear of the device. The level of the
subwoofer can be adjusted in the audio menu:
f Press the AUD ; button to open the
menu.
f Press the AUD ; button repeatedly until
"SUBWF" appears on the display along
with the current setting.
f Turn the volume control 1 counterclock-
wise or clockwise to set the level to
between 0 and 7.
To leave the menu,
f press the AUD ; button, repeatedly if
necessary.
Preamplifier output
You can connect an additional amplifier to the
device. To do this, the amplifier must be
connected to the rear of the device.

Note:
When resetting the tone settings (see
the section on "Resetting the tone" in
the "Tone" chapter), the level of the
subwoofer will be reset to "0".
