> > At first use
At the appliance first use accurately clean the crêpes plate (4), the pans for
raclette (5), the palettes (8) and the grill plate (6) with hot water and dish-
washing detergents.
Abundantly rinse and accurately dry all of the components.
Neither immerse the grill stone (7) in water or other liquids nor wash it
with cleansers; please refer to the appropriate section for its cleaning.
• Place the appliance on an horizontal and stable plan whose surface is not sensitive to
high temperatures.
Make sure that all of the feet (2) are supported by the plan.
• Place the accessory which you intend to use on the frame.
• Grease the cooking surface with edible oil.
Remove the oil from the grill stone (7) with a cloth or with a moistened
bloating paper sheet.
• Completely unroll the power cord.
• Connect the plug to the power socket making sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the one indicated on the appliance data label.
• Turn the thermostat, if any, on the maximum temperature.
• Wait about 10 minutes so that the accessory heats up.
During this first appliance use a slight smoke emission could occur
accompanied by a particular smell. This is a normal phenomenon which
will automatically disappear.
Prepare an appropriate ventilation
• Electrically disconnect the appliance and wait for all the components to cool down
completely.
