Before using the space heater, carefully read all of the instructions and follow them scrupulously. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for damage to persons and/or property caused by improper use of the equipment.
This instruction manual is an integral part of the equipment and must therefore be stored carefully and passed on
with the unit in the event of a change of ownership.
The space heaters described in this manual are designed to heat medium or large-size rooms requiring a fixed heating
system and, in particular, to heat greenhouses and/or rooms for breeding animals.
Space heaters are of the direct combustion type. The air is heated by the thermal energy generated during combustion
and is then conveyed to the room to be heated with the products of combustion: the room must in any case be suitably
ventilated in order to ensure adequate air circulation.
Space heaters can work with different types of gas:
• natural gas, indicated by the codes G20 or G25, depending on the heating power
• butane, indicated by the code G30
• propane, indicated by the code G31
• LPG, a mixture of butane (G30) and propane (G31)
When the heaters are set up for operation with one of these gases, this is indicated by a special label applied to the
machine (see paragraphs 4.3 and 4.4)
The gas supply pressure, which is imposed by national laws of the country of installation, must MANDATORILY be
verified before installation.
For greater convenience:
• The gas category and supply pressure for European countries are shown in Table I
• For non-European countries, the supply pressure must be determined by locally authorized specialists and/or national
gas distributors
All of the space heaters are fit with an electronic device that controls the flame and with:
• safety devices (safety thermostat with manual reset, flame control, air pressure switch) that trip in case of serious
malfunctions and cause a safety stop. In this case the heater stops, button (d) lights with a steady red light (Stop
Light) and the heater can resume operation only after the cause of the stop has been identified and eliminated;
• control devices (voltage control, gas pressure switch) that trip in case of minor operating faults or supply faults,
causing temporary stop of the space heater. In this case, the heater will restart automatically when the required
condition is restored.
The section "TROUBLESHOOTING" describes all possible operating faults and their possible remedies.
