BEFORE THE FIRST USE
· Take the appliance out of the packaging. Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers
have been removed before using the appliance for the first time.
· Disassemble the different parts of the appliance and clean all removable parts according to the
instructions described in the section 'Cleaning and maintenance'.
· Reassemble all parts when they are dry:
1. Position the seal on the blade assembly. Hold the jar upside down. Screw the blades clockwise onto
the jar. Turn over the jar so that the base is at the bottom again.
2. Tighten the lid onto the jar by turning it clockwise until it clicks.
3. Place the measuring cup into the top of the lid.
4. Place the jar on the motor housing. Make sure that the jar handle is on the right side of the motor
housing to position the jar correctly. There is a thick base on the jar that fits into the recess of the
motor housing. The blender is now ready to use.
Attention: the appliance has a built-in safety feature and will not work if the lid and the jar are not
properly mounted.
