This turntable
is
equipped
with an
electronically controlled,
tan-
gentilal
tone arm. This means that tone
am
geometry
is always
ideal, and that
tracking error
is
reduced
to
an
absolute
mini-
mum. The electronic
micro-throw
switches
are
used
to
move the
tone arm
or
start
the
automatic
playing cycle.
You
need
only
"tell"
the turntable whether
you have
put
on an
LP
or
a
single.
Switching on,
positioning the
tone arm,
and
shutting
ofl at the
end
of
the
record
-
the
turntable
takes care of
all
that automati-
cally.

Setting
up and connection
The
following
items are separatly packed:
Turntable platter
Turntable mat
Disc adaptor

1. First remove
the
transporting
screw
from
the bottom
cover on
the underside
of
the
unit!
2.
Place
the turntable
and
the rubber
mat
onto the
motor spindle.
3.
Please install
the
unit on
a
level,
firm
surface. Ensure
that turn-
table
is not
situated
near a
speaker
since
this could
othenvise
result in
acoustic feedback
leading
to distorsion or
blasting.
4.
Connect
the
signal cable
to the phonojack
on
the
HiFi
amplifier.
lf
jack-socket connections do
not fit, adapters are available from
your
dealer. Connect
the
metal
shoe
of
the cable's third
lead to
the
provided
ground connector
of
the
amplifier.
5. Connect
the componenl

receptable.
6.
Remove
the stylus guard by pulling
it forwards.
