21. Recording/Playback Function
a) Preparing Recording Mode
• Press the button "REC" (5); the display "REC" appears at the left of the
display and the beat display flashes at the display centre. This shows
readiness for recording. The recording does not start yet, however!
• Now you can (if desired) select another instrument or another accompa-
nying rhythm, adjust speed, etc.
b) Starting Recording
To start a recording, either press the button "START/STOP" (3) or start play-
ing on the clavier.
You can also use "A.B.C." mode (chapter 15. f) or Sync start (chapter 15. c).
Any change of a setting (e.g. selection of another instrument during record-
ing) is saved.
All in all, a maximum of about 200 notes can be stored.
The previous recording is overwritten every time a recording is started.
c) Terminating Recording
To terminate recording, briefly press "REC" (5).
If the memory is full, the recording is terminated automatically.
d) Playing Recording
Press the "PLAY" (5) button to play back the recording or stop playback.
If no recording is present, the display shows "NULL".
e) Deleting Recording
IF you start a new recording, the previous one is deleted automatically. If you switch off the keyboard, the recording is lost as well.
