Improperly mounted parts can cause severe and even fatal injuries when using the device!

• Assemble the parts carefully and completely.
• Use tools when their use is suggested.

When assembling the chain, heed the prescribed running direction!
Assembling the saw rail and saw chain
– Loosen fastening nuts for saw rail (11) from the chain wheel guard (7).
– Remove the chain wheel guard (7) (► P. 4, item 2).
– With the spanner (15), turn the bolt (16) towards the front (► P. 4, item 3).
– Place Saw rail (1) on the guide rail (17) with the guide groove (18) (► P. 5, item 4).
Note:
When attaching the chain, heed the correct position of the guide groove (saw rail).
– Place the saw chain (2) around the chain wheel (19). Heed the assembly direction.
– Place the saw chain (2) around the saw rail (1).
– Attach the chain wheel guard (7).
– Tighten the fastening nuts for the saw rail (11) by hand.
– Lift the tip of the saw rail slightly.
– By turning the saw chain (2) by hand, check to see that it is running correctly.
– Tighten the tension ring (15) until the chain lies on the underside of the saw rail.
– Tighten the fastening nuts for the saw rail (11) with the tool.
