Instructions for assembling the HSA Headgear with the CPS Chin Protector

These instructions should be followed when assembling a CPS Chin Protector, HSA Headgear and WP98
Short Window (order separately) together.

HSA et d'une fenêtre courte WP98 (commande séparément).

[Figure 1] With the faceshield window rotated about 30 degrees in relation to the crown, the star shaped hole [1] in the window
will be aligned with the star shaped projection on the crown [2]. Place the star shaped hole over the matching projection and
repeat for the opposite side. Make sure that the window is in back of the support flange [3]. Rotate the window in position in back
of the flange and force the locking mechanism [4] to snap closed over the ramp [5].
[Figure 2] Hold the headgear with the installed window in one hand and the Clear CP8 chin protector in the other hand as shown
in Figure 2. Beginning at one corner of the chin protector and faceshield window, insert corner of window [6] into rail of the chin
protector then push faceshield window into rail until the locking pin on the chin protector [7] engages into the slot of faceshield
window. While guiding faceshield window to continue in rail of chin protector, push faceshield window into rail until the center
locking pin engages into the center slot of the faceshield window. Continue this procedure to the other corner of faceshield
window and chin protector so that the last locking pin engages into the other corner slot of the faceshield window. As a final
check, look and insure that all three locking pins of the chin protector are fully engaged into the three slots of the faceshield
window.
To remove the chin protector, simply reverse the installation procedure. Start at one corner and push outside surface of
faceshield window near the locking pin so that the locking pin disengages with the faceshield slot ... pull faceshield window
corner out of chin protector rail. Continue this procedure on center locking pin and finally on opposite corner locking pin.
Faceshield window is now disengaged from chin protector.
