Attaching a Probe Cover

Always use a new and undamaged OMRON MC-EP3-E probe cover.
1.
Place a new probe cover on the connection ring.
Notes:
• The adhesive side of probe cover should be upward.
• A probe cover should be used once only, to prevent cross infection.

Insert the probe into the probe cover on the
connection ring until it clicks.
Notes:
• When the probe cover is not attached correctly, the probe cover icon "
will flash on the display and a measurement cannot be taken.
• Using the OMRON optional MC-EPL1-E probe cover loader allows for fast and easy
attaching of a probe cover. Please refer to section 7.
• Please refer to section 7 for the probe cover and probe cover loader.
