Step 3:
Installation of the pedal supports (32) with connecting tubes (19) and
pedals (38).
1. Place the handgrip axle (7) in the holder of handlebar support (10) and
push on each side one wave washer 17//25 (8) on axle's end.
2. Place the preassembled unit of foot pedal support right (32R) and
connection tube right (19R) on right side next to the main frame and
push the smaller wave washer onto the pedal crank (70) on right side.
3. Push the connecting tube (19R) onto the handgrip axle (7) and the
pedal support holder (97R) onto the pedal crank (70) at the same time.
Put on the screw (23) a spring washer (28) and a big washer 8//38 (24)
and tighten the connection tube (19R) at hand grip axle (7) firmly. Then
tighten the pedal support holder (19R) at pedal crank (11) with screw
(23), spring washer (28) and a little bit smaller washer 8//28 (101).
4. Install the left pedal support left (32L) with connection tube (19L) incl.
all additionally required parts on the left hand side of the machine as
described in step 2-3.
5. Mount front pedal support cover (35L+35R) to both side front ends of
pedal supports (32L+32R) and secure with screws (33+34) each side.
6. Turn the assembled unit at pedal crank slowly for 3-4 rotations and
tighten now the screw connection of handlebar support of Step 2 firmly.
Push down the handlebar support cover (51) to cover up the screw
connection.
7. Put the pedals (38L+38R) onto the pedal holders (32L+32R). Adjust the
holes in the parts so that they aligned.
8. Push the screws (41) from above through the holes. Put on a washer (40)
from the opposite side and screw on a hand grip nut (39) and tighten
firmly. (Note: The right and left footrests (38) can discern by the edges
of the longitudinal sides of the footrests. The high edges of the footrests
(38) must point inwards (towards the main frame. The position adjusted
in this way should always be equal at both sides. The positions can
change as desired at all times by removing the carriage bolts (41) and
sliding the footrests on the footrest brackets to get a more or less flat
movement.)
Step 4:
Installation of the handgrips (29) at the connecting tubes (19).
1. Put the handgrip bars (29L+29R) onto the connecting tubes (19L+19R)
and adjust the holes in the tubes so that they are aligned.
(Note: the handgrip bars must be aligned after assembly so that the
upper ends are inclined outwards (away from the support (10)).
2. Put on each bolt (21) a curved washer (3) and push the bolts (21) through
the holes and tighten the handgrip bars (29L+29R) at connection tubes
(19L+19R) with nut (27) firmly.
3. Place the bottle holder (5) into the appropriate position of handlebar
support (10) and fix it with two screws (4).
