USE
1.
Stand the pasta machine on a suitable
surface.
2.
Tighten the clamp to secure the pasta
machine to the surface.
3.
Insert the crank handle into the opening
in the roller mechanism.
4.
Cut the dough into small pieces, no
thicker than 1 cm, before feeding them
between the rollers.
FIG. 5
5.
There are seven thickness settings. Set
the rollers to the maximum thickness by
pulling the thickness dial out and turning
it until the smooth rollers are at their
widest opening, approximately 5 mm.
FIG. 6
6.
Sprinkle a little dry flour on the dough
before rolling or cutting it. This will stop it
sticking to the rollers or cutter.
7.
Turn the crank handle to feed the dough
through the pasta machine.
FIG. 7
NOTE:
If the dough is too sticky, add more flour so
that it can pass between the smooth rollers.
If the dough is too dry and is not feeding
through the cutting rollers, add a little
water before feeding the dough through
the smooth rollers.
8.
Fold the sheet of dough and sprinkle
lightly with flour.
FIG. 8
9.
Repeat two or three times for each
thickness setting.
10. Repeat the above steps until all the dough
has been rolled.
11. Repeat the steps, reducing the spacing by
one thickness at a time, from largest to
smallest (steps 1 to 9). Do not skip any of
the thickness settings.
FIG. 9
14
12. When the dough is even (approx. 0.5 mm
thick), cut it with a knife into approx.
25 mm lengths.
13. Move the crank handle to the opening
in the cutter mechanism and slowly turn
the crank to feed the dough through the
cutting rollers for the type of pasta you
are making.
FIG. 10
FIG. 11
14. Place the sheet of pasta on a cloth and
leave it to dry for 1 to 2 hours.
15. Detach the cutter from the pasta machine
by lifting it upwards along the slots.
16. Repeat in the reverse order to fit the
attachment to the pasta machine.
FIG. 12
