5. ERROR MESSAGE/MALFUNCTION
Follow the below recommended actions and press O/I button again to initiate
another measurement.

5.1 Other possible malfunctions:
The display shows the
symbol
The blood pressure
values displayed are
abnormally high or
low.

Possible cause(s)
E 1
Deflation is too fast or the cuff
doesn't inflate
E 2
Deflation is too slow
E 3
The cuff pressure is excessive
The reading process cannot
detect the heart beat
Inaccurate reading
There is a calibration problem
Problem
Batteries are drained.
The cuff is not wrapped
correctly or not at the
level of the heart.
Too much stress is ap-
plied on your shoulder
or arm.
You move your arm
or arm muscles during
measurement.
Recommended Action
Re-apply the cuff and try again
Relax for a moment and try again
Movement can compromise the
measurement.
Relax for a moment and try

Loosen the clothes on the arm and
try again

Repeat the reading. If the problem
persists, contact the Service
Centre. Refer to the warranty for
the contact information and the

and rise your hand so
that the cuff is at the
same level of your heart.
Relax yourself and make
