Use
The numerical keypad allows the memorisation of user codes and has code cancellation and memorisation functions directly on the keyboard, memory reset func-
tions and the possibility of memorising user codes from a remote position. The transponder allows the remote reading of tags/cards and series S500 transmitters,
through the use of the interface DKS1000R in the memory of which up to 1000 tags/cards or transmitters can be stored.
Interface electrical connection (fig. 1)
To facilitate the electrical connection the container is fitted with a slot-in terminal board cover which can be easily removed using a small screwdriver. (fig. 1c).
The receivers must only be powered by a safety power pack. The use of non-safety power packs could provoke damage to the system.
12V ac/dc between binding posts 1-2 with jumper "J6" in position "2"; 24V ac/dc between binding posts 1-2 with jumper "J6" in position "1"
If the distance between the interface and the keypad/transponder is greater than 100 m, you are advised to use a 24 Vac/dc power supply.
Led L1 lights up when the device is powered up.
The interface has four normally open relays which are marked CHA, CHB, CHC, and CHD.
Connecting the DKS devices (fig. 2-3-4)
According to the distance between the interface and the keypad / transponder run the cable carrying the power to the keypad and the serial line data.
Connect the wires of the DKSTPT transponder and the DKSDUALT keypad:
and fig. 3 dett. 11).Connect the cables of the DKS1000T-L keypad: FS1 black to binding post "11"; FS2 red to binding post "12" on the interface (see fig. 4b).
to binding post "11";
to binding post "12" on the interface (see fig. 2 dett. 12
