The laser can be mounted free-standing or fixed to the ceiling or wall using the support provided.
Installation on the stand
• Screw the stand to the stand socket on the bottom of the housing.
• Secure the fixture by tightening the counter nut (knurled head screw) to the support.
• Set the incline angle as desired and tighten the clamping screw on the joint.
Installation with a mounting bracket
• Install the laser effect device using a mounting bracket (1) on the ceiling, the wall or on a suit-
able crossbeam. When installing it, make sure that the device cannot swing freely .
• Secure the device with fastenings that are compatible with the fastening surface and suitable
for carrying the weight of the light effect device.
• Secure the installation with an additional suitable safety restraint cable or net. The safety
restraint cable or net must be able to support the laser effect device in the event of a fault in
the main support system.
• Set the desired angle of inclination and then tighten the bracket locking screws carefully.
Connecting the Power Adaptor
The mains socket, to which the laser is connected, must be easily accessible
so the device can be quickly separated from the mains voltage in the case of
a fault.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains
voltage can give severe electric shocks, which can be fatal.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and professional
way to prevent accidents.
• Plug the enclosed power adaptor's low-voltage plug into the DC5V socket.
• Plug the power unit into the wall socket.
Operation
• The desired operation mode is selected by means of the functional switch 1-2-3 and the
MUSIC/AUTO switch:
1-2-3 Switch
1
The light effect device flashes.
Use the STROBOFLASH CONTROLLER to set the flashing frequency.
Use the MOTOR
CONTROLLER to set the rotational speed of the motor.
2
The laser effect device is permanently switched on.
Use the MOTOR
CONTROLLER to set the rotational speed of the motor.
3
The device is switched off.
MUSIC/AUTO Switch
MUSIC
The laser effect is controlled by the beat of the music.
AUTO
The light effect is now controlled via the integrated controller.
Handling
• Never switch the laser-effect device on and off at short intervals. This will considerably reduce
the working life of the device.
• The device is not suitable for continuous use. Pauses in operation increase the working life of
the product.
• Never switch on the device immediately after it has been taken from a cold into a warm
environment. The condensation that forms might destroy your unit.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before switching it on. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
• To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. In addition, the air circulation must not
be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths or curtains.
Maintenance
Before cleaning the laser, disconnect it from the power supply (disconnect
the power adaptor).
Make sure that the inside of the device does not get wet or damp.
The outside of the device should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth or dry brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface
of the housing.
