ADVANCED OPERATION
SQL (Squelch)
Squelch System allows you to turn down the background
noise while there is no incoming signal. Squelch systems
renders operation mode on 'Stand-by' more efficient and
reduces the current consumption of the battery significantly.
Adjust the level of squelch in accordance with the instructions
given below:
1. Push [MENU] button, rotate[CALL] button. Switch to MENU [03] SQL.
2. Then push [U/V] button and switch to SQL5 level from the default settings.
3. Adjust among 0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 by rotating [CALL] button clockwise or counter
clockwise. (Default push down level)
4. Select the level at which the background noise disappears while there is no signal.
Push [U/V] button to save the settings.
5. Push [MENU] or [PTT] buttons to EXIT to normal operation mode.
LIGHT (LCD Lighting ON/Button/OFF)
Heider PRO5 has a red lighting on its monitor for a comfortable
use at nights. Red lighting reduces the distortions at night visions
to a level of minimum while ensuring that your screen is clearly
visible in the dark. There are 3 options to activate night light:
Key :
Enlightens the LCD when any button is pushed.
ON :
Enlightens LCD continuously.
OFF :
Deactivates LCD light.
