OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Plug cord into electrical outlet, operate 100-240 volt, 50-60 cycle AC electrical current
or as noted on unit.
UNIVERSAL AC/DC POWER ADAPTER
The unit is equipped with a universal AC/DC power adapter (Figure A). Four
interchangeable input plugs are included for use in most countries around the world
(Figures B-E).
INSERTING INPUT PLUG:
1. Unplug AC/DC power adapter from wall outlet.
2. Insert tabs on top of plug into slots on power adapter (Figure F).
3. Push lower half of plug towards power adapter until it snaps into place.
REMOVING INPUT PLUG:
1. Unplug AC/DC power adapter from wall outlet.
2. Push up on tab on bottom of plug until plug releases from adapter.
2-SPEED OPERATION
Your Andis clipper is equipped with two cutting speeds. The speeds are adjusted
using the slide switch actuator on the top of the unit (Figure G). Setting "O" indicates
the off position, Setting "1" is low speed and Setting "2" is high speed. After using
your Andis clipper, rewrap cord and store in a safe place.
REMOVING BLADE SET
To remove blade set, first make sure your clipper motor is switched "Off". Push blade
release mechanism under blade hinge (Figure H). While holding down the blade
release mechanism, push down on blade, then gently pull the blade forward (Figure
I) and slide it off the blade hinge. If your blade hinge should snap closed and is flush
with the clipper, use a small standard screwdriver to pry the tongue of the hinge out
(Figure J). NOTE: Hair may accumulate in the front cavity of the housing under the
blade. If this happens, you can clean out the hair by brushing out the cavity with a
small brush or an old toothbrush while the blade is off the clipper.
