Probable Cause
Support tubes have not
been removed from the
bassinet
Mattress has not been
removed from the
bassinet or the floor of
playard
Side or end rails remain
locked
The locking mecha-
nism in the floor of the
playard is not pulled up
far enough
Not all pieces fit in the
carrying bag
One or more of the
side rail hinges are not
locked prior to attempt-
ing to push down the
center of the playard
The clamps on the
changing table are not
properly attached to the
side rails
The support tubes
underneath bassinet are
missing or not installed
correctly
The playard is not lifted
high enough to release
auto-brake

Solution
Remove support tubes and then
fold playard
Remove mattress and then fold
playard
Unlock side or end rails: Push
buttons under the embroidered
circles, lift gently first and then
drop the side or end rail.
Pull up further on the lever in the
floor of the playard. This will
allow any of the rail hinges to lock
or unlock for folding or unfolding
the playard.
Playard, support tubes, and mat-
tress are designed to fit in the
travel bag. Leave the accessory
tray and changing table at home
or pack separately.
Listen for an audible "click" as
each side rail hinge locks into
place
After locking the side rails, ensure
that the center locking mecha-
nism in the floor is pushed down
completely. If you have difficulty
with this step, try lifting the pla-
yard off the ground slightly.
Push the clamps onto the clamp
guides on the left and right side
rails until you hear a "click"
Insert support tubes into fabric
pockets on top of the bassinet
and underneath the mattress
Lift the end of the playard (oppo-
site the wheels) higher to release
brake and roll the unit
