• Position the fl ue gas hood correctly in the specifi c seats at the top of the heater.
• Position the adhesive channel on the heater, making sure that it is in line with the hole in
the heater base, and if necessary fasten the channel to the heater casing using the two self
drilling screws supplied (fi gures 7/1, 7/2, 7/3).
• Insert the fl ue gas protector cable in the channel C, then close the cover so that this clicks
into position (fi gure 7/4).
• Remove the plug-fastener fi tted to the heater base and connect the female plug of the fl ue
gas protector to the corresponding male plug in the wiring (fi gure 7/5).
• Insert the cable connector in the cable way hole and refi t the plug-fastener to the heater
base (fi gure 7/6).

This device must not be removed for any reason at all. In the case of chimney mal-
function, the products of combustion and hence also Carbon Monoxide can enter the
heater room with serious danger for the occupants.
For the same reason, in the case of a fault, the part must be replaced using original
spare parts and by qualifi ed personnel only, who must ensure that the various parts are
correctly positioned.
