4.2. Wall mounting
1.
Push out the three fixing clips until the holes for the screws appear.
2.
Screw the device to the wall.
4.3. Dismantling from top-hat rail
Put a screw driver into the visible hole of the black fixing clip. Then pull the clip out
upwards until the device detaches from the top-hat rail.
5. 10-pole DIP switch
5.1. Setting the address (126, 125)
For setting the address for the device on the OSYnet group bus use the code switches
with the values 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64. Set the appropriate switch to ON. Other addresses
are set through addition.
You need to set address 126. If you install a second OSYnet SafetyController 2 (SE) on the
same group bus, you must set address 125 on it.
If the address is changed during operation, a reset must be carried out afterwards.
Otherwise the new setting will not be applied.
5.2. Reset
To carry out a hardware reset, set the coding switch 10 (Reset) to ON for one second and
then back to OFF.
6. ESD protective cover
The ESD protective cover (00 0276 53) serves as protection against electrostatic discharg-
es and as protection against contact.
•
After connecting the cables (see Section 7: "Connecting the cables" (page 13)), put
on the ESD protective cover.
