Only use this multi-function grinder/sharpener for domestic purposes. The
machine is not designed for continuous, professional use.
Only use this machine according to this instruction manual and for the
intended use.
Only use this multi-function grinder/sharpener for dry grinding.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the machine.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the machine, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Never leave the multi-function grinder/sharpener unsupervised when it is
switched on. Keep it out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision.
The multi-function grinder/sharpener is not a toy.
Never move the machine by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get
caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the machine and do not bend
it.
Do not use the multi-function grinder/sharpener when the power cord has been
damaged. Have the power cord replaced by a professional or contact our
customer service.
Keep the power cable away from rotating parts.
Pull the power plug from the power socket when the multi-function
grinder/sharpener is not in use, when cleaning it, before changing the grinding
stone or when maintaining the machine.
Wear personal protective equipment. Always wear safety goggles to
protect your eyes when using the multi-function grinder/sharpener.
Wear hearing protection to protect your ears. Wear safety gloves to
protect your hands.
Do not use damaged tools.
The grinding stone will rotate for some time after the engine has been
turned off. Never try to stop the wheels by hand. Do not touch the
grinding stone and work piece directly after use as they might have
become very hot.
If the processed tool turns blue during the sharpening process, it is overheated
and can get damaged. Cool the processed tool regularly when being
sharpened.
