Badly damaged twist drills should first be
coarsely sharpened on a sharpening block.
Both cutting edges (b) must have the same
angle to the drill axis (a) and have the same
length so that the drill runs concentrically.
Replacing the Grinding Stone
Before changing the grinding stone, pull the power plug from the wall socket.
There is risk of injury!
Change the grinding stone if it is worn out or damaged (e. g. irregular
sharpening results or if the stone is broken).
1. Unscrew the four screws from the cover with a suitable cross slot
screwdriver and remove the cover.
