Witter F112AU Instructions De Montage

MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
D 4 M10 x 1.5mm Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
E 1 Right Hand Side Arm
F 2 Spreader Plates with captive bolts
G 1 Left Hand Side Arm
H 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
EP 1 Electrical Plate (ZEP2)
ZQ 1 Witter Tow Ball / Neck Kit
FITTING
1 Remove bumper (2 wheel arch liner screws and 1 nut behind wheel arch liners each side. 2 fixings on top edge of
bumper and 2 fixings on lower face of bumper). Remove bumper beam.
2 Insert Spreader Plates (F) into chassis rails with the captive bolts through existing holes in outside face of chassis.
Loosely attach Side Arms (E) and (G) to captive bolts on Spreader Plates (F) using Nuts (D).
3 Replace bumper beam and bumper.
4 Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (E) and (G) using Bolts (H).
5 Attach Detachable Kit (ZQ) and Electrical Plate (EP) as per separate instruction. Tighten all bolts.
Note: This tow bar must be used with a Witter '2030 Series' Tow ball / Neck Kit or Class A50-1 or A50-X tow ball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the tow bar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
Fitting
Instructions
Grade 10.9 M12 – 139Nm.
