FITTING
1.
Remove bumper (2 torx head fixings on each wheel arch liner, 1 nut behind wheel arch liners each side, 2 torx head
fixings on top edge, 2 plastic screws on lower edge and 1 torx head screw each side behind rubbing strip – see photo).
2.
Remove bumper beam. Insert Side Arms (E) and (F) into chassis and loosely attach to existing holes in outside face
using Bolts (D). Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (E) and (F) using Bolts (G). Ensure the face plate is vertical
and tighten all bolts.
3.
Re-fit bumper, taking care to avoid damage to the face of the bumper against the towbar neck.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
