Turning on the grill burner
The grill burner can only be used at its nominal
heat output.
To light this burner correctly, strictly adhere to
the following instructions:
• Open the oven door fully.
• Hold and turn the thermostat dial clockwise to
the specified position (grill). By holding the
dial pressed, the micro switch located behind
it will create a series of sparks in the spark
plug that will cause the burner to light.
• Hold the dial pressing for 10 seconds to allow
the thermocouple located in the burner to
heat up and automatically maintain the flame
lit (observe).
• If after approximately 10 seconds the burner
does not light, stop and wait for at least one
minute before trying to light it again (always
keeping the door open).
• Once that you are sure that the burner is lit,
wait a few seconds before gently closing the
door.
• Place the oven tray below the grid to catch any
dripping fat.
• When cooking is completed, turn off the
burner by turning the thermostat dial
clockwise to zero.
• If for any reason the flame goes out, do not try
to re-light the burner for at least one minute.
Selecting functions
• The oven light can be switched on by turning
the dial in an anti-clockwise direction.
• The fan can be switched on when the lower
burner is in operation by turning the dial in a
clockwise direction.
• The bottom position switches on the fan for
defrosting.
Oven timer
To use the oven timer, the alarm must be
switched on by turning it fully in a clockwise
direction and then backwards to the desired
time (max. 120 minutes). After the programmed
time, the alarm will sound.
Caution:
The timer does not switch off the oven when the
alarm sounds.
