1. Where shouldn't the VINYL CLEANER PRO be stored?
Please don't place the device in the blazing sun, in damp or hot rooms nor in places
subject to great temperature fluctuations.
2. What if the record doesn't rotate after it has been inserted or does so irregularly?
The drive system consists of two pins pressing against each other with driving rings.
If the record doesn't rotate properly, it might not be inserted at the exact position between
the driving rings. In this case, apply gentle pressure to the top of the record to correct the
positioning.
3. What if the record is inserted properly between the driving rings, but still does
not rotate properly or slips through?
Check if the two drive rollers with the driving rings are rotating. If so, the driving rings
are worn and must be replaced. Sometimes records „jerk" due to their material, form,
thickness or size.
4. Viewed from the front, the record wobbles on the left side and keeps hitting
the edge of the cover or constantly touches it.
VINYL CLEANER PRO can wash records of various thicknesses. The drive rollers adapt
themselves to the dimensions of the record. Hence the record may rotate from the center
to the left. This is normal and does not indicate a fault, as the edge of the LP that may be
touching the device is not recorded.
5. VINYL CLEANER PRO makes a „squeaky" noise.
In rare cases the wet wipers may squeak when the record is rotating during the cleaning
process. Normally the squeaking should disappear by itself. If the noise persists after several
records, it might help to replace the water wipers.
6. Why do I need to replace clean liquid after 4 weeks even if I don't use the
device regularly?
This is to avoid residue and odor formation. If the cleaning fluid is only mildly contaminated,
it can be stored in a sealable container for future use.
