Operation

If used correctly, the device should not leak.
•
In case of a fault, disconnect the device immediately and contact your dealer.
All position details refer to the position numbers in the section ,Product overview'
(see page 26).
1. Place VINYL CLEANER PRO on a level surface.
– Check by using the spirit level (5).
– The air bubble should be positioned roughly in the middle of the circular
marks.
2. Check the wet filter (7).
– The wet filter must be fully inserted into the slot.
– The acrylic cover must be fitted on properly.
3. Connect to the power supply.
– Connect the round jack plug (24 V) of the power supply unit (10) to the
socket (9).
– Connect the power supply plug (230 V) to the earthed power socket.
Filling the device
To fill the device use:
– 4.5 liters of distilled or demineralized water (room temperature).
– 1 bottle of cleaning concentrate.
– Always ensure the drain plug is tightened secured.
Pour 4.5 liters of distilled or demineralized water into the top of the rinsing
chamber (6). Add the cleaning concentrate.
– The float must reach the upper edge of the level indicator (3).
– If water levels are sufficient, the red LED (15) will go off and the green
LED (16) will light up.
Due to evaporation, water levels may be too low at times to start the cleaning pro-
cess, if this is so the LED will flash red (15). Top up with distilled or demineralized
water accordingly.
N OT E!
Only use the original cleaning liquid! Other cleaning agents may cause malfunction-
ing or irreparable damage to the device (due to excessive foaming for example or
by damaging the water level window) or harm the record. The original cleaning liquid
concentrate also prevents records from becoming electrostatically charged.
If this warning is disregarded, no liability can be assumed for damage to
the device or record. Furthermore, the warranty will be invalidated.
