Notes:
- The measurements provided by the blood pressure monitor built into the Visiocheck® device are equivalent to those obtained by a healthcare professional
using the cuff/stethoscope auscultation method, within the limits prescribed by the American National Standard Institute (ISO 8160-2:2013).
- The VisiocCheck device will display blood pressure values between 0 and 295 mmHg. Outside of this range, the device will display OUTSIDE RANGE.
- When a blood pressure reading is taken, the Visiocheck® device will display a pulse rate between 40 and 180 beats per minute. Outside of this range, the
device will display OUTSIDE RANGE.
- An arm cuff positioned above or below the heart can lead to inaccurate results.
6. MAINTAINING THE DEVICE
Notes:
- Do not sterilise the device or its accessories in an autoclave, with ethylene oxide, or by submerging in a liquid. The device should not be sterilised.
- Do not spray or pour liquid onto the surface of the device or its accessories. No liquid should come in contact with the internal components of the device.
- Never submerge the device or its accessories in any liquid whatsoever.
- Do not put the device or its accessories into a dishwasher.
- Protect the device and its accessories from ultraviolet rays.
- Do not use water or substances such as benzene, diesel, paint thinners, concentrated alcohol or detergents.
- The ECG electrodes are single-use and therefore cannot be cleaned or re-used.
6.1. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the device using disinfectant cleaning wipes (with or without alcohol).
6.1.1. CABLE/WIRE CONNECTIONS
At the ends of the cable are electrical connectors. In order to avoid electrical faults, these must not be submerged.
Cleaning / Disinfection
1) Disconnect the cables from the device by pulling on the plug, to avoid damaging this component.
2) Wipe all exposed surfaces with a disinfectant cleaning wipe.
4) Dry all exposed surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.
Before use, check that the product is undamaged, clean and dry.
Notes:
Do not apply oily substances (lubricating grease or oil) or aggressive liquids or solvents to the cables. Do not use bleach.
6.1.2. PULSE OXIMETER SENSOR
Cleaning / Disinfection:
1 Disconnect the extension cable from the device by pulling the plug, to avoid damaging this component.
2 Wipe all exposed surfaces (inner surface in contact with the patient, outside surface, cable and extension cable) with a disinfectant cleaning wipe.
3 Dry all exposed surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.
Before use, check that the product is undamaged, clean and dry.
6.1.3. ARM CUFF
Cleaning / Disinfection:
1 Disconnect the arm cuff from the device by pulling on the plug.
2 Clean the arm cuff by wiping it with a disinfectant cleaning wipe.
3 Dry before use.

6.2. STORAGE
Refer to the technical characteristics for how to use and store the device.
Avoid extreme changes in temperature or humidity.
Do not use the device in places subject to high temperatures or humidity.
The device and its accessories could be damaged if they are not stored or used within the temperature and humidity ranges indicated in the technical
characteristics.
6.3. DATA STORAGE
When the data storage limit is reached, a message will display on the screen recommending that you delete data.
6.4. ACCESSORIES
Regularly check the condition of accessories and cables. Replace any if necessary.
Service life of accessories: Replacement recommended every six months
6.5. WASTE DISPOSAL
In accordance with the European directive pertaining to EEEW (electrical and electronic equipment waste), respect local regulations.concerning the
disposal of this device and its accessories (electronics).
