and pull it out.
Switching ON and OFF
1. To turn the hand-tiller on, first press the
safety switch (2) inwards and then depress
the ON/OFF switch (6).
2. To turn off the hand-tiller, release the
ON/OFF switch.
Hints:
Please note that the tiller wheels will run
for some seconds after switching off the
unit. First wait for the tiller wheels to come
to standstill and then place the unit down.
Remove leaves and foliage from the area you want to dig up. Be
sure to remove strongly rooted plants (e.g. ground covers), as the
creeping roots of ground covers can get caught in the tine wheels.
Remove trapped leaves and twigs, preferably with pointed pliers.
First remove the battery from the device before you intend clean it.
Place the hand-tiller in front of the area you wish to hoe. Hold it
securely with one hand and switch on the motor by pressing the
safety switch (2) and the ON/OFF switch (6) simultaneously. The
tine wheels begin to rotate and dig into the ground.
To achieve cleanly hoed soil always ensure that you guide the
hand-tiller in straight lines wherever possible. Please observe that
the aeration swaths should always overlap each other by a few
centimetres in order to avoid bare strips.
Switch off the motor promptly when you arrive at the end of the
area you wished to hoe. The motor must be switched off when you
raise the device (e. g. to change direction).
