Possible cause(s)
No fuel
Carburator requires adjustment
Low-oil shutdown is shutting
off engine.
Unloader valve has been loosened
(turned counterclockwise).
Hose inlet filter clogged.
Air in water.
Nozzle worn.
Pump worn.
Water supply off
Hose inlet filter-washer plugged
Plugged nozzle
Air in water inlet line
Insufficient water flow
Worn pump
Maladjusted unloader valve
Detergent hose foot strainer plugged
Air in detergent
Injector is clogged
Low pressure nozzle is clogged or worn
Injector ball valve remains open
Worn or broken bearing
Inadequate water supply to pump
Pump is not primed
Worn or partially clogged nozzle
Suggested solution(s)
Add fuel
Refer to Engine Operator's Manual
Add oil to proper level as indicated
on dipstick.
Turn unloader clockwise until it locks
at original factory preset position.
Remove and clean.
Tighten all water hose fittings.
Replace nozzle.
Rebuild or replace pump.
Turn on water supply
Remove and clean
Clear obstruction by blowing air back
through nozzle.
Tighten all garden hose fittings.
Turn water on full force
Rebuild or replace pump
Readjust unloader to factory preset
Remove from container and clean
Check for air leaks in clear hose
and fix.
Remove and clean injector
Clean or replace low pressure nozzle
Dismantle injector and clean
Replace bearing as needed
Clear inlet screen and ensure water is
turned on full force
Prime pump
Clean or replace spray nozzle
