• When deploying the product, make sure that the cables are neither kinked nor
pinched.
• Do not leave the packaging material unattended, since it could become a dange-
rous plaything for children.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- has visible damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
• Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• If you have doubts about how the product should be operated or how to safely
connect it, consult a trained technician.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work may be carried out only by an expert or
a specialist workshop.

Install/change an attachment
An attachment may only be installed, removed or changed when the motor unit is
turned off and the drive has stopped spinning. There is a risk of serious injury, if this
is not observed! This will also ruin the product and void the warranty!
• Switch off the motor unit by the switch (2). Wait until the motor has come to a complete
standstill.
• If the attachment should be removed, turn it by 90° backwards and then pull it out of the
motor unit.
• In order to install the attachment push it fully into the opening (3) of the motor unit.
The attachment fits only in one orientation (turn the attachment by 90° backwards
and then insert it into the motor unit).

• Now swivel the attachment by 90° forward until it seats securely locked in the motor unit. The
