Monitor function
With the monitor function you can switch off the automatic squelch to
listen to the weakest signals, which are cut from the automatic squelch.
To activate the monitor function proceed as follows:
Out off range function
The out of rage function can also be selected at normal walkie talkie
mode. Every 8 seconds the radios are checking if the radio is in the
receiving range. Is the radio out of range for more than 60 seconds, the
icon appears on the display. As soon the radios are in range the
icon disappears on the display. On the Alarm menu you can select an
additionally acoustic alarm. To activate the out of range function on one
of the radios has to be selected as Mama1 and the other as Baby1.

1. Press the Up-/Down button until SQ appears on the
display.
2. Press the OK button to confi rm.
3. Use the Up-/Down button to select between 4
levels.
4. Press the OK button to confi rm.
1. Press the Up-/Down button until Mon on? appears
on the display.
2. Press the OK button to confi rm. The display shows
Mon , the channel no . and noise of weak signals is
heard.
3. To switch off the monitor function press the OK
button again.
1. Press the Up-/Down button until Rang appears on
the display.

General operation
