Recharge batteries
Don't try to charge Alkaline batteries, they can
explode and damage the two way radio.
The included desk charger (delivery content) is
only to use for NiMH rechargeable batteries.
The desk charger has 1 red LED and 1 green
LED. The red LED shows the ready status and
the green LED shows the status of the charging
process.
The desk charger has a electronic charging con-
trol to avoid overcharging rechargeable batteries
(only for the rechargeable batteries from the
delivery content) therefore the rechargeable bat-
teries will not damag if the Young446 plus placed

The Young446 plus can operate with
AAA size Alkaline- and rechargeable
batteries (NiMH or NiCd). Push the
knob of the belt clip and rotate the
belt clip anti clockwise to the right side.
Open the lock of the battery door and
remove it. Insert the batteries under
consideration of the polarity and close
the battery door.
