Important driving safety notices
The PCCM (Porsche Classic Communication Man-
agement) is the central control unit for the radio,
media functions, external audio sources, sound
settings, navigation, and Bluetooth® telephony. You
must observe the following to ensure that neither
you nor others are placed at risk or come to harm
when using the PCCM:
WARNING
Accident hazard. Distracted driving can cause you to
lose control over the vehicle.
Only operate the Porsche Classic Communication
Management when you can operate your vehicle
safely and the traffic situation permits. When in
doubt, stop the vehicle and operate the Porsche
Classic Communication Management when at a
full stop.
WARNING
Accident hazard. The navigation system is only
intended as support for the driver and gives sug-
gestions for the route. It does not relieve you from
your full responsibility to observe the proper rules of
the road and other applicable regulations governing
conduct on public roads. You as the driver must
assess the relevant traffic situation. You are solely
responsible for driving your vehicle safely.
Continue to pay attention to the traffic situation.

Important installation notices
This device was designed for use in vehicles with a
12 V battery. Before installing the radio unit in your
vehicle, verify that the battery voltage corresponds
to the radio unit. If this is not the case, you must use
a voltage converter to convert the power supply to
12 V.
INFORMATION
Risk of short circuits and fire when working on
vehicle electrical systems. Disconnect the bat-
tery while working on vehicle electrical systems.
To avoid short circuits in the wiring and damage
on the equipment, secure all cables with cable
terminals or insulating tape. Do not route cables
past locations that generate heat. Also avoid
locations with moving parts, such as the shift
lever, parking brake lever, or seat rails, to ensure
that the cable insulation remains intact.
Avoid short circuits and damage by not routing
the cabling through the engine bay to make a
connection to the battery.
Replace the fuse exclusively with a new 15 A
fuse, if the fuse is defective. Never use a fuse
other than specified. Failure to do so can result
in cable fires or short-circuits.
Do not connect devices to the battery since this
may cause the battery to overheat.
Verify that all cable connections to the loud-
speakers are properly insulated to avoid short
circuits.
Avoid connecting the ground cable to the loud-
speaker output since the internal amplifier can
otherwise sustain damage.
The maximum rated output of the installed
loudspeakers is 4 x 45 Watts.
When connecting the loudspeakers, verify that
these are connected correctly since navigation
announcements are only routed to the front
loudspeakers.
A speedometer signal is principally not required
for the equipment functionality.
We recommend having the equipment installed
professionally.
